Blarney to Dublin

Left the relaxing Blarney Golf Resort and made our way to Cahir. Had a lovely peaceful break allowing us to photo the Castle, buy some fresh strawberries.

Moved onto a photo stop for the Rock of Cashel (one of the early High Kings of Ireland’s castle and where St Patrick was said to have given his ‘shamrock sermon’.

Travelled to Kildare where we visited the tranquil Irish National Stud farm and the tranquil Japanese Gardens associated with the horse breeding farm.

We had a quiet return to Dublin and wound down B906 Focus on Ireland coach tour. All in all a memorable trip (almost 1600 km, just about a thousand miles) made some really dear friends.

More to follow …
