Today we took a city
tour in an air-conditioned coach – thank heavens as it got to 38C. We
fortunately got to the Acropolis around 9 a.m. – we only posting a few of the
hundreds of pictures we took. We bought a book that gives a glimpse of the former
magnificence of the Acropolis – we would be happy to share it with you. Toured
the new Acropolis and Benaki Museums – both were fascinating. We truly do not
make beautiful structures, clothing, pottery etc like the Greeks of old did. We
are planning to visit one more museum tomorrow then to the beach.
