Touring around Killarney Ireland

Well this has been an unforgettable anniversary, not just because it is our 25th but because we have seen some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. The Ring of Kerry has majestic views, hairpin turn roads and every shade of green in God’s creation.

Our day began with a Jaunting cart (a horse-drawn covered cart) ride around the Killarney National Park driven by a traditional Kerryman, Kevin and his trusty Irish Draft Horse Suzie – this was very entertaining.

The remainder of the day was spent  driving around the Ring of Kerry (160 kms) with beautiful mountainous scenery and coast line views. We had several stops in coffee shops (one that provided Irish coffee to entice buying their wares) with lunch in Sneem (means knot or twist).

Our anniversary was celebrated with 4 other tour couples. Bernie had lamb of course. Chris received a dozen roses and chilled champagne from her romantic husband. What an incredible day. God has truly enriched our lives.
